Every listed company has a unique ticker symbol — a short code used to identify it on the exchange. Think of it like a car's license plate.

Reading a Stock Quote

When you look at a stock on Stockr, you will see:

• Price — The last traded price in KES
• Change — How much the price moved today (in KES and %)
• Volume — How many shares were traded today
• Market Cap — Total value of all the company's shares

Green numbers mean the price went up; red means it went down. Simple!
